The content of this site — text, design, case studies and articles — belongs to Duet Ventures. You're welcome to link to it and quote it with attribution; please don't republish it wholesale.
Client accounts
Client portal accounts are for customers and prospective customers of the studio. You're responsible for keeping your password confidential and for activity under your account. We may close accounts used abusively. You can ask us to delete your account and its data at any time.
Project work
Every engagement is governed by the written quote you receive before work begins, which specifies scope, price, timeline and deliverables. Unless that quote says otherwise: 50% of the fee is due to start work and 50% on delivery; two rounds of revisions are included; and full intellectual property in the deliverables transfers to you on final payment.
Invoices
Invoices are payable by the due date shown on them. Work may be paused on accounts with invoices more than 14 days overdue.
Warranties and liability
We warrant that deliverables will materially match the agreed specification and will fix defects reported within 30 days of delivery at no charge. Beyond that, our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid for the engagement concerned. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
Newsletter and articles
Articles and the newsletter are general information, not professional advice for your specific situation. Acting on them is at your own judgement.
Changes
We may update these terms; the date above always reflects the current version. Material changes affecting active clients will be communicated directly.
